TCS dollar revenue growth highest in 14 quarters; 10 key takeaways from Q4 results

Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter grew by 3.8 percent (up 8.2 percent YoY) to Rs 32,075 crore on sequential basis, which was ahead of Reuters poll of Rs 31,669.2 crore. Revenue for the quarter ended December 2017 was Rs 30,904 crore. Revenue in dollar terms increased 3.9 percent, the highest growth in last 14 quarters, to USD 4,972 million in Q4FY18, which was far ahead of analyst estimates. Dollar revenue growth on year-on-year basis was in double digit at 11.68 percent. "Dollar revenue growth was above our 2.4 percent QoQ growth and USD 4,901.9 million estimate. The dollar revenue growth was supported by strong cross currency tailwind (1.9 percent in our view)," ICICIdirect.com Research said. Norton launches Commando 961 Cafe Racer in India, bookings commence for Rs 11.5 lakh

British motorcycle manufacturer has launched the Commando 961 Cafe Racer in India. The Cafe Racer has been priced at an introductory amount of Rs 23 lakh, ex-showroom, Pune. In a report by Autocar India, only one unit of the Commando 961 Cafe Racer is available in India for sale. Finished in silver, the Commando 961 is sold by Motorcycle, which comes under the Kinetic Group. Motorcycle, as you may know, also sells the MV Agusta in India as well. The Commando 961 Cafe Racer will be imported to India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route by Motorcycle who confirmed they will be bringing in more units based on the demand figure since its a 'make-to-order' offering. The motorcycle upon booking order will be hand built at Norton's manufacturing facility in Derby, UK, with a delivery time period of two to three months. BMW launches all-new X3 from Rs 49.99 lakh

After its unveiling at the 2018 Auto Expo, BMW has now launched the new X3 with a starting price tag of Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the xDrive 20d Expedition variant. The third-generation model of the premium mid-sized SUV comes in two diesel variants and the higher xDrive 20d Luxury Line has been priced at Rs 56.70 lakh (ex-showroom). OnePlus 6 launches are expected to happen soon, and ahead of it, the Chinese company on Thursday announced its partnership with Marvel Studios. The new tie-up is primarily for Avengers: Infinity War that is hitting theatres in India and the US on April 27 and extends the association between OnePlus and Walt Disney. Moto G6, G6 Plus details leaked ahead of launch

Details of Lenovo-owned Motorola's upcoming "Moto G6" series have been leaked online ahead of its launch, the media reported. Online smartphone retailers Carphone Warehouse and Amazon released pictures of the upcoming "Moto G6" and "Moto G6 Plus". However, the pages were removed soon after the media reported about the leaked details, although the models still showed up in a quick search, according to CNET.
